Pros: It plays games and runs on my computer (most of the time)

Cons: The famous BSOD, among other instabilities and minor annoyances

The only reason I have this on my computer is binary compatibility. If I could run all of my games under Linux, this I wouldn't own a copy of Windows.

Windows is the best OS in existence at current. Linux is great for servers.

Windows is the jack of all trades, and excels in all of them.

Personally I agree with you (and im a noob linux user). I prefer linux over all windows OS's because to me, its just more stable.
It just needs more gaming support, and it would be perfect.

I love linux and all but why would you pay for the most expensive(pointless) version of windows? I'd rather hack a cheaper version into doing those same things/having the same features.

Gamers aside,I have never met anyone who has tried Ubuntu for a month and still prefers windoze.
Windoze is bloated, unsafe and a PITA to keep running ...... you'll need to reformat eventually, no matter how you use it.

@Rookie1337 I didn't pay for it, my dad did. Otherwise I'd probably be running Home Premium.
