Msi 970A-G46 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

used it for 3 weeks the upgraded to an Asus . Had trouble getting a good OC with this board , better results with new board . If you're on a real tight budget and you don't plan on overclocking it's okay , Voltage was all over the place , had huge spikes and drops tried with 3 different PSU , same results ,,
Maybe I got a bad board ?
It sits in the closet as a backup

I purchased this motherboard on a tight budget and needing something to overclock and potentially unlock my AMD 960T BE. I had some luck with overclocking but none in unlocking. The board is alright, has some blue touches on it and allows for SLI or Crossfire if needed. It has 3 fan headers including the CPU fan on the board itself and allows for plenty of USB 2.0 inputs. It has 2 USB 3.0 ports on the IO panel, and 2 SATA 6gb/s on the board for newer high speed hardware if you so need it. Overall the board is good for the price I would suggest to any budget build, however I would not suggest it to anyone more dedicated to overclocking.
