Great motherboard dat RED

review by bonami2

Some review report this motherboard as one of the best z97 on the market price and feature wise.

ProsCons
Run cool with the 12 phase vrm and voltage super stable. Reading point on mobo and small lcd Bios is a bit strange compared to asus. But it do work well and look nice just a bit harder to find everything.

Great motherboard dat RED

Z97 offers little over Z77 and compatible CPUs in my opinion cannot compete with the i7 3770k in overclocking. I made the mistake of recently upgrading to a Z97 and am seriously considering taking a hit and upgrading to the X99, which is a tock in terms of motherboards plus it supports better CPUs. I am now running a 4790k and in my experience the 3770k was simply a better CPU and a much better overclocker, The 4790k was supposed to be a CPU that could be taken to 5mhz but in reality is hard to keep stable at 4.6. Just my opinion and I have a right to be wrong,
