Nanoxia Deep Silence 1

Description:
Years ago, with the launch of the legendary Nano-Bearing fans, we dedicated ourselves to the development of innovative, high-quality must-have products. With the launch of the Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 PC Case this development now finds its logical evolution.

In accordance with current requirements, this innovative tower - as the foundation for a whole new line of future products - offers the perfect symbiosis of ideal system cooling and sensationally low noise levels - especially for the use of high-end PC-systems.

Exquisite looks and timeless elegance characterize the appearance - the Deep Silence 1 is deliberately simple in design. Common controls were inconspicuously integrated into the exterior surface, maintaining the linear design flow.

The high performance demands on a case of superior quality have been taken into account with the Nanoxia Deep Silence 1.

Great mid-tower case

As far as non-Case Labs, consumer-grade water-cooling cases, it doesn't beat the 800D, but it comes close. It also seems to have better air-cooling than the 800D. It has support for a 240mm radiator in the top and second 240mm radiator in the front. With a front radiator, you can only use the 3-hard-drive bracket, but this is a reasonable compromise.

It comes with three high-quality fans (140mm in the back, two 120mm in the front) for good airflow out of the box and a two channel, 18 watt per channel fan controller. Even on max speed, the fans are almost silent. I also have two Gentle Typhoons on my Hyper 212 Evo which are quiet at full-speed and almost silent at about 85% on the fan controller.

The biggest benefit of this case is how insanely quiet it is. Coming from an admittedly crappy Xclio Windtunnel, I was expecting a good drop in sound, but the drop was huge. It's obviously not quite as cool as the Windtunnel, but thanks to the acoustic dampening, my GTX 670 FTW is actually quieter, even at higher fan speeds.

The big downside: it's not yet available in the USA. Based on the information I found, it's expected to be available from Newegg in the middle of January 2013. However, I got impatient and ended up ordering it from QuietPC.co.uk with international shipping. Nanoxia has said that the expected price in the US will be between $110 and $130 once it's available. For the price, it's hard to beat.

ProsCons
Ridiculously quiet; understated, Antec P180-type looks; good water-cooling supportNot quite yet available in the USA

Great mid-tower case

I have tested it temporarely (can't give up on Phantom) and I can say it's pretty silent-ish, but doesn't do wonders in my case, I thought if everything was on low and i'd use my ssd's there'd be no sound but I don't know , maybe with PSU's with no vent, nanoxia's on low , and fanless H100 or air cooler and just ssd's on, but you can still hear a pretty loudish airflow sound with 3 nanoxia vents and 2xty140 from the silver arrow.
