At last a 140mm fan with SP credentials.

review by wihglah

My case came with a cheap CM 140mm fan. Not surprisingly the Noctua PPC blows it away (pun intended).

Airflow out the back of the case has increased by a significant amount. It idles no lower than 950rpm (the PWM version will go as low as 500rpm), but it is silent at that speed and puts out more flow than my old fan did at 1300rpm. At 2000 rpm, it's like a hurricane and the only noise is airflow.

Before:

After

Air cooled GPU temps at the end of Heaven are 3*C lower than before and there is a warm breeze coming out of the 140mm vent.

ProsCons
Moves a massive amount of air but remains quiet, even through restrictions. Now in Black!Rubber vibration damps still chocolate brown.
