Noctua NF-S12B FLX
Pros: Rubber mounts, Quiet adapters
Cons: High price, low airflow beaten by cheaper fans, low static pressure, not that quiet as it is made out to be
I don't really care that this fan is a odd colour, I care about the performance. The fact that this £20 (a rip off) fan gets beaten by £7 slip streams it shameful, but somehow they get let off with it but that's how marketing works. you think this fan is bad the "pressure" model was awful, in some reviews I have seen the NF P12 being beaten by the NF-S12B FLX (on radiators).
The adapters are good and the rubber mounts are good too but that is about it.
Noctua may make great heatsinks but there fans are pants. In my opinion if you want a quiet fan you don't need to spend £20 on one, get a cheaper model something like a Nexus, Gelid Silent or a Slip Stream they will be quieter and cool better are around the same RPM.
