This fan blows

review by eternal7trance

I bought this fan to replace the horrible ones that came with the 600t SE. They fit pretty well but I had to use zipties.

This fan pushes a ton of air. When I replaced the stock 600t SE fans, it was about a 9*c drop. This is comparing same room temps, 60% fan speed on the NZXT and 100% fan speed on the Corsair ones. This fan can be pretty loud if you have it cranked all the way up, it starts to get a lot quieter under 70% or so. I have mine set at about 950 RPM and it sounds like a faint fan blowing. The sleeved black cable is a nice touch and it also comes with a connector so you can pick 4 pin molex. Overall the quality and finish of the fan looked very nice.

Be careful when you install this because the blades are pretty sharp. That's the only complaint I had.

ProsCons
Pushes a lot of airLoud

Phantom fan

review by chinesethunda

nothing bad about this fan, high cfm, not too loud, only problem that its not actually 200mm, so it's not swappable with other cases

ProsCons
high air flownot actually 200mm

Came with the Phantom

review by strych9

Got this fan with the Phantom. Well this is a quite good fan. High CFM so draws a lot of air, not so noisy, comes with 4 LEDs that can be turned on or off (don't know if it is only for the Phantom).

The only con is that the fan isn't really 200mm, it's something around 190~192mm iirc, so I don't think it can fit in other cases without any issue.

Would rate it 4/5.

ProsCons
Draws a lot of air, LEDs, looks goodNot 200mm

Came with the Phantom

Hate the LEDs, personally, and leave them off. OTOH, it is an excellent fan, sadly I think it only fits NZXT cases. (may be wrong on that one)

Pretty sure the LEDs themselves are only on the Phantom, unless they've introduced a newer model.

Good for the price

review by erothfuss

Its a great all around fan, I love that it lights up and has many color choices!
I do like that you can turn on the leds and turn them off, however it would be nice with only one wire. (It has a 3 pin for the fan itself and a 2 pin for the leds) but isnt a big deal. Its a little loud but it still moves alot of air. It has 4 leds in it, but I think it should have more since its not super bright. I did get the fan for free from nzxt they sent it to me when I was looking to buy one and they got confused and thought the one in my case was broken. So all in all even for the money its a great fan!

ProsCons
Moves alot of air, fair price, lots of color choiceNot very bright could use more leds, A little loud
