Blue Phantom

review by kyismaster

Great case, I would say its rather large.

It has a built in fan controller, which is A+,

- Esata
- 2 USB slots ( USB2 )
- 5 CD drive bays
- 6 Hard drive slots
- 3 200MM fan mounts
- 2 120MM for direct HDD air flow
- 1 120MM Exhaust
- 1 120mm/140mm intake,
- Pretty easy to clean

ProsCons
Large, Many Hard drive slots, 3 200MM fan mounts, 140MM intake, 4 120MM mountsMaybe too large for some people, non- easily removable HD bay for extra large RADS.

Great Case for Money

This case is possibly one of the best case for the price. If you're on a budget and looking for a good case, you've found it.

Starting from the outside, the aesthetics are very unique from any other case and brings a great balance between a gamer look and a sleek look. You could call it HAF-X + 800D. The front panel door feels very sturdy along with the rest of the case. The front and top panels are very easily removable by just yanking on them. The built in fan controller is one of the handiest things on the case. Temps getting high? Just turn up the dials. Too noisy? Turn them down.

Internally, the case is very spacious and the modding possibilities are endless. The small HD cage is easily removable and the large one is removable by drilling out the rivets. This is great for watercoolers as removing the HD cages makes more than enough room for a very thick 240 rad. With some slight hole drilling a 360 rad is also mountable at the top too.

As for air flow, the Phantom is one of the best cases I've seen for it. The design and fan placement is great for a perfect air path. Cool air in from the general bottom/front area and hot air out from the top/rear. Personally I never have to turn the fan controller up from the minimum since my temps are always under control.

The Phantom is a great choice of case for anyone who's looking for a mid-priced, high performance case. It's perfect for anyone from water coolers to case modders to plain old air coolers.

ProsCons
Tons of modding possibilities, huge amount of interior space, great aesthetics, great built in fan controller, beautiful airflow, quiet.Sort of plasticy, no 360 rad mounting without modding.

Great Case for Money

Woot woot I get the White with red trim one, this case is the greatest when it comes to airflow and space. The design is beautiful.

A con I would add is having huge fan ports but not including them. Everyone has 120mm's. No one has the rest. They only included 1 240 for me and I think they should have included all 3 for those ports. Specially since I bought a side one (specs said it would fit with the spacing I had) from their website and it ended up being bigger then listed.
