Great RAMs but...
Pros: Heat spreader and rated 1066
Cons: Not as good compatibility and pricey
These are the pricey RAMs I have acquired to complete my sig rig build... and I missed the mail in rebate offer that happened half a month or so before I made my purchase.
Originally, I've placed an order for 2X2GB OCZ Blade series kit for the same price at another store... after waiting for 2 weeks, I called in and days later they told me OCZ has discontinued the line... what the heck??? Up yours OCZ and the store!!!
Anyways, I believe these Platinum series RAMs work great and overclockable to a certain extent with other mobos. It's just not that great on mine...
Consider these are the platinum series which is one grade above the gold series... the resulted performance is not worth for the premium I've paid.
If they had only cost me $70 to acquire at the time... I wouldn't have complained.
They work at rated speed is all I can say at performance end and errors occurs if I set 2.2V for vDRAM.
