Good cooling performance but noisy at medim high RPM

Posted

Pros: Really good cooling performance

Cons: Loud, buzzy above 900 RPM

According to SPRC the cooler is silent. But beware, Phanteks does not supply the cooler with the same PH-F140HP silent fans but with the new version PH-F140HP II which is worse from every aspect: less airflow, lower static pressure and more loud. Don't be confused by the 19 dBA as the fans resonate, produce a buzzing noise above 900 RPM. CoolingTechnique made a video about the same fan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8kQPpJxRqk. With a more silent and equally well performing fan this cooler could be a really strong performer.
