Razer Deathadder 3G Gaming Mouse

Posted

Pros: Ergonomics. LED Lights. Long cable. Adjustments.

Cons: Slightly weaker plastic than some mice. Glossy sides

Introduction: This is a great mouse from Razer, is a wired mouse, and has upto 3500DPI. It is nice to hold, but I personally don't like the glossy sides. Review: It is a palm grip mouse, but I also use it as a Claw, and fingertip grip as well. I use it for Call of Duty and Battlefield and I do really well with this mouse. It has a nice plastic/rubber thing going on. It has glossy plastic on the sides which I came to find annoying, because it collects sweat easily. It also has two programmable button on the left side that you use with your thumb. It is a very non-stick mouse, and moves very well, and it is easy to click, and scroll. Making it a great mouse for everyone. And the...

Good mouse

Pros: Light, lights aren't annoying, nice long cord

Cons: Profile switch on the bottom of the mouse

It seems like cheaper plastic than other mice I've seen, comparing mostly to the Logitech MX518. I mean, it looks like it'll withstand a lot but it doesn't feel as tough as the MX518, perhaps it's just the matter of weight difference to me. The profile switch on the bottom? That I don't understand. I owned the Lachesis for a bit, till it started bugging out on me, so I returned for this instead. The Lachesis had a spot for it where it was reachable to switch on the fly. I don't need to switch DPI on the fly often but having the profile switch on the bottom is a bit annoying, and when you do hit the switch, expect a >1s downtime on your mouse. Took my mouse to a lan party, returned with...

The Razer Deathadder 3500 DPI version

Posted

Pros: Very ergonomic, tracks flawlessly, braided cord

Cons: No dedicated DPI switcher

Using the Razer Deathadder as a replacement for my MX518. Overall, this mouse is extremely comfortable and is a palm grip type of mouse. It has a nice rubberized coating on the top while the sides of the mouse has the regular, glossy finish. The mouse buttons have nice indentations for your fingers to rest comfortably on the mouse buttons. This mouse does not come with software out of the box. You will have to download it from Razer's website but be warned, some users have had their mice bricked by updating their firmware. Not sure what causes this problem or if Razer has addressed this issue already or not. The software will allow you to change the mouse's DPI settings. The DPI settings...
