Perfect mouse for FPS but the two side buttons are horrible.
Pros: 6400 DPI, Adjustable lighting, Macros, Able to program any button to do almost anything, side buttons are adjustable, Razer braided cable.
Cons: The two side buttons are hard to press so they become useless.
I have had this mouse for about four months now and i play games such as Battlefield 3, Planetside 2, Tribes ascend and pretty much every other good fps game. This mouse is perfect for all of these as it glides smoothly and has a very nice feel and click. Sadly the two side buttons on the mouse stick out too much and require quite a bit of force so for me they have become redundant. I play on 3200dpi and have no problems with stuttering. The mouse has two lasers (one infra red and one optical) which helps to keep the mouse insanely accurate and usable on any surface. If you are always using it on the same surface there is a nice option to calibrate the surface so that the mouse picks up only the intended surface.
The mouse also has a lift off distance customization which is nice as I like to set it as low as possible so wile moving the mouse around it does not still track. The side buttons are adjustable which is helpful but they are still hard to press although im sort of getting used to it now. For any FPS gamers i would certainly recommend this mouse. BTW, i also do graphic design and video editing in after effects and premiere if that is of any help to anyone.
