Nice to hold

Been using this mouse for 2 months , previously is the much much cheaper Roccat Lua. Cost S$119 (USD 95) here due to heavy shipping tax and stuff of my greedy government. But to be fair I shall compare those that are on similar or close to the price range such as Razer Deathadder (S$99.90, USD80).
Ergonomics wise, it is each to himself. But IMO it is the best ergonomics for me with a thumb-hole at the side that I love a lot. It make sure I do not slip, and my thumb just feel so nice and fitting inside. The mouse is a matte material, you know those rubbery texture that has friction, it's nice to touch. However it does leave very bad oil smudge on it (no finger prints though), or if you have a bit sweaty palms like me, when it dries up, the sweat will leave ugly markings/tone on it. I use alcohol wipe every night, so it's not a worry for me.
Next, Aesthetics wise, also each to himself. IMO, it's very nice looking (although the simpler Lua looks better IMO as I love simple and plain design), especially the matte surface looks darn good. The Roccat cat or whatever animal that is, have glowing effects at the back, which make it super beautiful (I switch between breathing and permanent glow). They boast 16.8 million colours as claimed, however some professional reviewers did say they think that it is an over-claim. I personally do not see the difference since I only switch the colours once before (blue and pink for fun).
Marcos. Most gamers like it. Personally, I don't like/need/want gaming macros button, so that's the reason I got Lua previously (the traditional 3 button mouse). As the Kone Pure boast a 7 button mouse, and although I love 3 buttons mouse, I chose it for a good reason for myself. I initially wanted the Steelseries simple 3 button mouse which had a lot of gaming teams sponsored (which must means your brand has a certain 'influence' and 'power'). Being an FPS player, of course I want the best, and Steelseries pop into my mind. But I chose a familiar brand because the Lua didn't give me any problem or dislike (except I want to change because it's too old and the size is getting smaller for my liking). The macro I like about this Kone Pure is that it can adjust volume by press their Easy-Shift button + scrolling the Titan Wheel.
I tried using the Macros (listed on the mouse software driver) on CS:GO, it didn't work. Not sure if it is because the driver software is outdated with the current CS:GO version, or some other problems. But the mouse definitely received the input of that 7th button (Easy-Shift), as when you press it, the Roccat Cat will glow your chosen colour + a hint of white to show that you are pressing the Easy-Shift function.
I know most people do not care for such functions since volume control can be controlled from their Mech keyboards, or some other ways. But personally I am using Ducky DK2108SZ, the volume control is at top right. I wouldn't want to shoot people halfway, and when stuff get too loud for my hearing, I have to shift my left hand all the way there, or worst, removing my right hand from my mouse to adjust.
Recommend: People who likes the design, form factor (go try yourself at the local store, I did that and chose it over the SteelSeries, but people differs), and the gaming+utilities Marcos.
