Samsung 30nm

review by samwiches

Here are results so far (all @ 1T, 12hrs Prime stable):

1600MHz 8-8-8-8-27 1.350v
1600MHz 7-8-7-7-27 1.375v
1800MHz 9-9-9-9-27 1.375v
2133MHz 10-10-10-28 1.406v
2400MHz 11-11-11-28 1.525v (very hard to boot--needs work)

For $45, this should be all you need to know.

(edit: unsure about the 2400 speeds---doesn't work at those settings now.)

ProsCons
8.0GB that does 2133MHz 10-10-10-27 1.40v for $45, lowest profile available.There are none---best DDR3 ever.

Samsung 32NM 8GB Wonder ram

review by snipekill2445

This is some of the best RAM I've ever owned. It overclocks wonderfully, and is low profile with no massive heatsink allowing you to install it with any kind of processor heatsink without obstructing the fans.

It is very low profile memory, it barely even pokes out of top the DIMM slot so it is perfect for all computers, From monster enthusiast rigs to basic home computer use.
There's not much to say about the physical look of the sticks, they have black PCBs with no heatsink/coolers. Seeing as RAM uses < 4 w, big heatsinks are completely unnecessary anyway.

This ram is good for all workloads, from gaming to video editing and rendering, although you will likely need more than 8GB for the latter.

This ram is in a word, simply wonderful. I've been using it for a little over two weeks now, at 2133mhz, with 10-10-10-27-2 CL7 timings and stock 1.35 voltage and it has remained 100% stable.
Excellent overclocking, performance and price. If you are looking for a new set of memory for your computer, consider some Samsung wonder ram.

ProsCons
Fast, Outstanding overclocking capability, Well priced, Low profile.None at all.

Better than these guys are describing

review by tatmmrkiv

Seeing as no one else knows how great the timings are on these or the nice ones...

@ 1.47v
no heatsinks or nothing and that was when DIMM_c1 was damaged. anyways since then I have sticks and sold those... I got them to 2460mhz~1274mhz at those timings

ProsCons
fastest kits out there. 32M Super pi in 6m59.599s, really low voltage even with OCno heatsinks, supposedly don't scale well with LN2, OEM packaging is weak
