Pros: Small 7mm form factor, 5yr MFW, 95% of components built by SanDisk, FAST

Cons: Price? but of course I purchased them on their release date June 11th 2013

I've had these up and running for nearly 3 months now and have been very happy with their performance thus far. I read some promising reviews prior to my purchase and unlike the former Extreme and other SSD manufacturers, SanDisk built 95% of the components used in this Extreme II version. Plus they also extended their 3 year warranty to 5 years. They also come in 120GB and 480GB capacities. The 240GB model being reviewed has a 224GB formatted (usable) capacity.I have 2 of them set in RAID 0 with a combined capacity of 447GB and 12% of that (55GB) is used by Windows 7 Pro. I don't wish to debate the practicality of using SSDs in RAID 0, this is OCN, we do lots of things unnecessarily ...
