I bought this card to play BF3 since my old 4850 couldn't handle it. This card plays the game at auto settings (1280x1024) at a smooth average of 50-60 fps, which is what I was looking after.

It gets up to 70ºC (fan @ 50%) in Furmark, which I consider great considering it does not sport a fancy aftermarket heatsink.

I'll keep this card until I can either get a good card for €200 after AMD and nVidia releases their whole 7000/600 product line up.

Once thing worth mentioning is that this card only has one six pin PCIe power plug, and the PCB was not clean, there were stains of... something. I've seen the same in my 4850s.

I have the exact same card and it runs BF3 on High at arround 40 fps's, you are probably facing a bottleneck somewhere cause this 6850 can do more than you think it can.
My CPU is the bottleneck
Anyway, I'm running at 50-60, so there's no problem at all.
Question. If your CPU is the bottleneck, will you upgrade your CPU too when the rest of the newer generation comes out?
