Description:
The SAPPHIRE HD 7950 OC 950 MHz Edition, which is factory overclocked to 950Mhz and features SAPPHIRE's new dual-extractor technology - Dual-X - a highly efficient multi-heatpipe cooler with dual fans providing quiet and very cool operation during normal operating conditions, and superb cooling performance even under extreme load. The new design is HD 7970 class that enables more head room for overclocking. For enthusiasts wishing to maximise performance, a new version of the SAPPHIRE overclocking tool, TriXX supporting this latest generation of technology is available free to download from the SAPPHIRE website. TriXX allows tuning of GPU voltage as well as core and memory clocks, whilst continuously displaying temperature. Manual control of fan speed is supported, as well as user created fan profiles and the ability to save up to four different performance settings. Both of the SAPPHIRE HD 7950 models have a dual BIOS, allowing for further experimentation by the enthusiast. On the OC edition, the second BIOS is pre-programmed to allow a higher maximum overclock and more aggressive fan profile.

A masterpiece of a videocard

review by trooge

Honestly this is a great video card. After using it for a month total, it has changed gaming completely for me. I upgraded from the radeon hd 5870 and i've seen a huge increase in performance. The cooling is great, great use for dual fans, the performance is unbelievable. I havent had a single problem with this video card. I would recommend this to anyone, its a cheap price and at the same time it gives great performance.

ProsCons
Great video card, I can max out any game that i've tried, destroys games like bf3, overclocking is easy and doable with stock coolngNone

Strong Gpu!

review by bonami2

I love this card as well as i hate it...

Noisy if pushed past 70% fan speed (never happen while gaming even FOLDING@HOME at 48% fan speed) Boost is not effective at 100% load (Core clock jump each 3 sec 800-925.

And one fan is vibrating at 65% in manual mode idk why....

Sometime the driver stuck at 500mhz on windows 8 pro i need to reboot to fix that.. Im on 8 not 8.1

So when it work it perfect im still trying to understand why i have these kind of problem and will report back it can be a defective gpu..

So it a great purchase
