Pros: Can be mounted upside-down without unwanted noises, great CFM/DB ratio

Cons: Would like sleeved cable

If you want proper quality fan and not sleeve bearing rubbish products, this is one you should look for.

Not to burst your bubble, but FDB is a type of sleeve bearing.
Indeed is, like rifle bearing and other so-called alternatives. But main difference why sleeve bearings make noises when mounted upside-down is that they have loose vertical movement on shaft. This one hasn't got any - tight fit.
FDB is a fancy name for rifle bearing, and overall, any type of rifle-styled grooved bearings.

A well-oiled non-grooved sleeve bearing won't make any noise either when spun at non-extreme speeds. Now if you compare a Kama Flow to a chinese offbrand $3 fan, yeah, it will make noises. My point was, your conclusion is wrongly phrased and can lead to people believing this is not a sleeve bearing fan. Take it as an advice, not as a criticism
