Pros: Quiet, Reliable, Well priced.
I bought it before the big flooding crisis that saw hard drive prices sky rocket. It was originally just going to be used as a temporary hard drive, until I had the money to afford a slightly bigger 1tb hard drive.
Once the floods happened however, I saw myself using this drive for quite a few months longer than I first planned.
Timing about how long it takes to boot into Windows 7 off this drive, I got a time of roughly 50~ seconds, so not the fastest mechanical hard drive around and a far cry from even a slow solid state drive. This never bothered me alot remembering the price of the unit. Waiting on applications and games to load did get tiresome however.
After around a year of ownership, buying new games and installing new applications I completely filled the drive save 10~gb. Even at this point it performed well enough, and had no issues in this regard.
I think this is a good hard drive for those perhaps building their first computer, who don't have alot of money left over for larger storage solutions. It's very reliable and quiet.
Update: I sold this hard drive with my first computer, after roughly 2~ of use, with no issues to speak of. Very reliable indeed.
