So this is actually my second cheetah 15k.7 my first one i smashed while destroying my desk ever playing with ass whole friends in gta online, locked the platters of the first drive. while dissembling the drive i got to see its impressive build quality. huge air filters, thick platters, thick magnets, thick aluminum shell. im glad to see seagate went up in quality instead of down over the years. the inside of this drive is enough for me to know i can trust my data with seagate.

i know my first one broke but it was smashed off of concrete rather hard.
as far as speed goes, i got a crappy hp smart away that's cutting my speed off at 200mb's but i have heard of others getting 400 out of it. capacity, 300gb and the best buy. its like 50$ for 300, 100$ for 450gb and 200$ for 600gb and since most of my hard drives are between 256gb and 40gb im quite happy with 300. but yeah, most impressive hard drive i ever had my hooves on.

but considering all of that i got one complaint. NO HARD DRIVE ACTIVITY LIGHT, ***! it has a power light but not a activity light, only reson it dose not affect my rating is the fact the reader head has a unique enough sound that i know witch hard drive is active.

ProsCons
price, capacity, speed, reliability, build qualityhas power light but no activity light.
