I saw this kit bundled together on Newegg with a PCIE 2.0 USB3 port. This is what I need, I thought. I had been using a WD MyBook World Ethernet drive. As a drive it was nice, but the Memeo software that ran the backups was a kludge. Worse: it couldn't find the previous backup, so each time a user started the computer, we had to cancel what it was doing and start a new backup. Given that our relationship was with WD, not Memeo, you may imagine that we eventually gave up trying to get help. So I vowed my next NAS would not be WD. Hence, a Seagate this time.
