Fantastic! <3

An incredible pair of headphones. These phones are extremely comfortable and have literally replaced the speakers on my desk. I can't justify using speakers when the quality of sound these headphones bring to the table is so exemplary. I was scared to buy headphones originally, because in my experience headphones felt like strapped speakers to my head and blasting sound to my ears. These are so comfortable, I can~ (and do) have them on for hours without any kind of discomfort.

I never understood that a quality pair of open headphones like the HD595 could give such 'space' with the sound. Music is layered so that it actually feels like it's flowing around my head and not directly into my brain. Many pieces of acoustic tracks and orchestra give me an almost surreal experience, as if I was listening to them play in my room.

Bass here is not massive, but it's not anemic. I don't find myself feeling disappointed in the bass in these headphones. However they could be better for bassy genres such as Drum and Bass and Industrial music. Still, I find it does more than make up with the clarity and smoothness of the bass which is very present and not muddy.

If you've yet to buy a premium headphone, and you have your sights on the HD595, I can say I highly recommend it. I would look for a sensible price used here on OCN or Ebay from a reputable seller however before paying for it new, as though the headphones are great, I do not believe they should be paid more than 200 dollars for. Once you go into that range, I believe your options do grow wider when it comes to a solid pair.

I'm glad I purchased these, I'm sure you'll feel the same way regardless of how much you paid for them. They're wonderful cans. I would definitely buy them again if for some reason I ever lost these. They're what I'd call a 'staple' in the world of headphones for me. <3
