SilverStone Aluminum Body ATX Full Tower Computer Case TJ07B - Retail (Black)

Description:
The main structure for the TJ07 is crafted from a solid extruded aluminum panel measuring more than 164cm (5.3 feet) in length and 4mm to 8mm in thickness. Using a process never before seen in PC cases, the panel was then arched precisely on two sides with automotive-caliber press machines to create the top, front, and bottom sides of the chassis. The end result is an aluminum chassis frame with more than twice the structural rigidity over average steel cases, helping to practically eliminate vibration-induced noise. Thanks to this process, SilverStone engineers was freed to place more large fans at strategic positions to significantly improve cooling while keeping noise to a minimum.

A Modders Dream Case

review by r3apr369

I remember the first time I set my eyes on the Silverstone TJ07. It was like looking A PC Tower that screamed quality and versatility!

The case is very light, unlike other full tower cases. Thumbs up to the Aluminum Body! Don't let this fool you as being cheap, the build quality of this case is spectacular! This case also allows up to three radiators! One 240 and 480 radiator at the bottom, and one 360 radiator up top. With this many amount of radiator space, cooling will never be an issue! Let's not forget that every part of this PC is attached with thumbscrews. This leads to the beginning for modders!

As many of you may already know, the Silverstone TJ07 is highly recommended to people who are into modding their cases. Companies such as Murdermod and ColdZero specialize in building modded parts for this case, and the quality of build towards their products are beyond amazing!

I myself can vouch for this as I have modded parts from ColdZero. The most famous mod of this case has to be the "tube routed midplate" and "inverted motherboard tray". What the midplate mod allows is for tubing from your GPU and Reservoir to pass through the midplate by use of pass-through fittings. The tubing on the other side of the midplate will then connect to your pump and radiator. All this will give your PC's insides a clean and sleek look! Now with the inverted motherboard tray, this allows for for better heat dissapation as your GPU's are now located towards the top of the case, than the bottom like before. Having an inverted motherboard tray also gives you the bonus of being able to show off them sexy GPU Blocks. People with Plexi GPU blocks know what I'm talking about.

I know I can probably go on and on about how great of a case this is, but let's just face it, we all know your going to end up buying this case anyways, so why hold you back with all my jibber-jabber?

On a serious note though, this case is amazing. If your not into modding, this case is still something to consider. Many people buy this case and love the standard look of it. If you are a case modder though, the thoughts are endless! Enjoy!~

ProsCons
Spacious for Radiators of different sizes. The case is also very Mod-Friendly! If you do not plan on modding this case, the cable routing can be a bit frustrating, considering the standard motherboard tray has no cable cutouts
