Best multiplayer, endless skill cap, and great single player.

If you are truly looking to test yourself in a fast paced intelligent RTS this is the game for you. These days most people like to play easier games like MOBA's but if you are willing to learn an even harder game I assure you that you will feel far more rewarded when you win. The community is over all great, the support from Blizzard is great, and you can basically be playing this game for years and it will never get old or stale. It has 2 guaranteed expansions, so you can expect it to be relevant for a long time to come.

As far as the single player campaign goes, it has a lot of varied missions, as well as selectable upgrade paths making one play through completely different from another. With the addition of achievements you are rewarded for your hard work.

I was a huge SC1/BW fan and Starcraft II lived up to it without selling out on what made brood war so special, yet modernizing just enough to keep it perfect for today.

Can't recommend enough.

ProsCons
If you are looking to test yourself this is about the best game out there. Not only that but it has a wonderful SP campaign. Every major complaint I've had has been fixed via patches ( mainly battle.net features ).

Yea i would have to agree with this review 100%. While BW had some unintentional finnicky things that made its skill cap a little higher SC2 is a ton of fun if you like to put time in and improve and out think your opponents. Heart of the swarm addressed alot of the Battle.net Concerns from the Wings of liberty release and has shuffled the playbook up in multiplayer. Also adding "a practice ladder" for off-race or testing builds and not losing ladder points but still getting matched with people of your skill level. Tons of fun i would also recommend this game to any strategy fanatics like myself
