Best 50USD I've spent
Pros: Clarity
Cons: Needs to "burn in" for bass and quality
I'm no "audiophile" so I'm not going to bother trying to use terms like "mids, lows, highs" and act like I know what I'm saying. All I know is that I really hadn't "heard" my music before I used these headphones. With these headphones I could finally hear all/most instruments clearly without them seeming "muddled" together or fighting for focus. My lossy(MP3s and AACs) music however does now sound somewhat dull or overly emphasized in certain areas that make it feel unnatural.
The one thing that caught me by surprise is just how out of balance these headphones were during the first hour. Cymbols and vocals were overpowering everything and bass was nonexistent. Now after about 60 hours things began to settle (I figure maybe another 40 for them to finish) and these headphones really have shown their worth. A lot of people said bass wasn't there on these but I'm guessing they only gave an impression on the first couple of hours or they have some desire for bass that is basically beating the crap out of you.
So in short...these probably aren't the best out there but at the 50USD range they were just perfect.
