Great hard drive

review by ieatfish

Before SSDs, this was one of the better hard drives available. Fast speeds and great warranty. Mine has been through two systems and tons of uses and still working great. Now you can find some drives that are a bit faster (Samsung F3s for example) but this drive is still one of the better mechanical drives available.

ProsCons
Fast, good storage space, reliable

Great bang for the buck

review by kevinf

In a time when most HDDs were 250GB platters, the release of these 320GB platter HDDs blew away the competition... and even faster then their 320GB platter Blue drives thanks to dual controllers and better shaft stabilizers.

Great for Data drive

review by oldamdnew2intel

I have 2 of these in my workstation and they have been functioning well for years!!!? One is the data drive [D:\] companion to my Samsung 830 512GB SSD that holds my OS and all other software, while the other does nothing but functions as a backup drive for all my photos, slide shows, and family videos.? For the price [they are always going on sale] you cannot beat the bang for the buck factor here at all.

ProsCons
Quiet; fast; and 640GB HDDNone
