Description:
With Power Supply: No Power Supply Mounted: Bottom External 5.25" Drive Bays: 3 External 3.5" Drive Bays: 1 Internal 3.5" Drive Bays: 5 Internal 2.5" Drive Bays: 1 Front Ports: Mic x 1, Headphones x 1, USB 2.0 x 4 Motherboard Compatibility: Micro ATX / ATX
This is a great looking case. It has a bit of weight to it, and feels pretty sturdy. It also has a blue LED fan on the front intake, if you're into that. It has a nice little storage pad on top where you can stash your phone, flash drives, etc.
Size/Space:
Spacewise the case gives you enough room to work with. I have enough room to clear a Hyper 212 Evo with a tiny bit to spare. The biggest space constraint I ran into is that with the bottom mounted PSU it is physically impossible to plug in the 4-pin molex to my ASRock FM2A88X Killer board if I want to run a crossfire setup.
There is enough space between the back panel and the cable management area to tuck away all the wiring from a non-modular PSU,
There are provisions to install 2x 2.5" SSD's. One in the traditional HDD bay, and one on the back panel where you route your cables.
Cooling:
The case comes with 2 120mm fans, one of which has blue LEDs on it. All together there are mounting provisions for 1 intake fan in the lower face, another intake in the bottom of the case (both of these have screen filters), 1 mount on the upper rear, 2 on the top of the case, and another 2 on the side panel, for a total of 7 available fan mounts. The back of the case has 2 holes with rubber grommets to accommodate water cooling lines. The top panel of the case comes off and allows for a nice mounting position for a 240mm radiator if you are so inclined.
I only have a few complaints with this case:
They provide you with ample hardware, but no PCI slot covers. The existing covers snap off and are not reusable. I went from a mATX board to an ATX and now I have several open holes due to different PCI slot locations.
The rack-mount HDD mounts are a nice idea, but the slots are a tiny bit too far apart for all 3 of my 3.5" drives. I had to source some washers to serve as spacers so that I could get the screws tight and still have them poke out enough to fit the slots.
As mentioned earlier, the case is incompatible with my FM2A88X Killer if I want to run crossfire.
Pros
Cons
Big enough for large coolers, lots of fan bays, watercooling provisions.
Poorly executed "rack mount" style hdd mounts
