Great card for gaming 1080p or below.

review by sepiashimmer

This is the first card from NVIDIA with it's newest Maxwell architecture, the major improvement this architecture has over Kepler is the amount of power it consumes, it is less than Kepler's.

In the box you get manual, VGA-DVI converter, driver CD. This particular card doesn't require additional power supply and gets all the power it requires from the motherboard's PCI-E slot. It takes up two slots, at the most when not overclocked it's power consumption would be approximately 55W. It has full GM107 containing 640 CUDA cores with 128 bit memory interface with GDDR5 memory, it is a lot faster than DDR3. It has a transparent orange fan which is noiseless even when it is functioning(at least I couldn't hear it). You can also OC this card.

With Zotac brand you get 2 years warranty when you buy it but if you register on their website within 30 days of buying it you get extended warranty. To know more about it go to this link: http://www.zotac.com/support/warranty-manager.html

I'm completely amazed with how well it performs, earlier whenever I played games with 8600GT, I had to reduce resolution to 720p and reduce or disable many settings. With this card all the games I've run so far started with maximum resolution and high to ultra settings. It hasn't let me down till now for many games. I'm using a local made(India), Bullzer 450W PSU, and I didn't encounter any problems with it.

At 1440x900 Alien Isolation ran without any stutters with this card. I disabled motion blur and put ambient occlusion on "Standard" setting.

If you'll be playing games at resolution 1080p or below and want to save on electricity bill, you should consider buying this card. 750 Ti is available in another variation which requires additional power supply and OCs even more than this, those variations of 750 Ti also have 2 fans on their heat sink.

ProsCons
Doesn't require additional power supplyNone that I can think of.
