Adaptative Read Ahead was not enabled... that's why I had the bad figures.
Now here are my final results for Q6600 3Ghz, 4GB DDR 1066, Asus P5KR, Perc 5i in slot PCIe 4X not 8X, Raid0 3xOCZ Solid Series 30GB, Adaptative Read Ahead enabled, Write Back enabled, 128Kb stripe: HDTune Read: ![]() HDTune Write: ![]() I find the write speed not very satisfying. What do you think? ATTO: ![]() HDTACH:

That has to be some kind of bug or program limitation... It might be pulling from cache?

Well I bought a PERC 5/i today. Will get a BBU later. And if it doesn't work on this EVGA motherboard I'll just have to get rid of it, too.

Well, the LSI SAS3442E-R I have sitting here isn't recognized at all on this board. But works fine on the old Athlon sitting in the closet. I even tried the pin mod. EVGA has been no help so far.
