Just when i started thinking about upgrading my surround sound. I have the Logitech Z-5500 and im getting a bit tired of the receiver it comes with. The options are too limited and i wish to have some speakers louder than others, but the Z5500 only allow you to control the center and subs independently, as for the surround...it only lets you control the 4 together as one. Does this one allow me to do individual volume adjusting?

It supports independent adjustment of all channels - front left, center, front right, subwoofer, surround left, surround right.

Though I would be willing to if you wished it, I am going to guess cost would be prohibitive. No, it does not have a voltage selector switch.

MMMMMM.....I would totally get this if I didn't have to pay a bunch of crap ATM......maybe if my tax returns come in.....
Could I run my z5500 speakers off this? I would have to buy another sub I suppose.....or mod the current one to fit regular speaker wire or RCA...no problem though, that's what my soldering iron is for

You could conceivably do it. The most challenging part would probably be finding specifics for the drivers that Logitech used in the satellites - I don't think there would be a problem though, Harman Kardon likes to use high-current designs rather than high-wattage ones. Regardless, I doubt you'd be pushing more than 5 or 10 watts to the speakers for normal listening - even with my massive Sansui cabinets I don't make it much past 10w.

For the subwoofer you could just make or buy a RCA to 1/8" minijack cable (or heck, I could make it for you). It does have subwoofer pre-outs for all channels, so you could split up the speaker amplification duties whoever you wanted.

Sweet. Yea man I'll let you know....I've been wanting to buy a used receiver for my setup. Seems like a great deal, plus K know you took great care of it.
