The overall sound will feel much fuller/broader. Bass will be improved and have more impact. I don't believe you'll find much difference in treble. For me the improvements were mostly in the bottom end of the sound.

They were discontinued some time ago. They originally retailed for $100 USD, so even then this is quite a good deal I'd say.
