Edit: I'm thinking of selling this and then building my own setup...Asking price is $1350 + shipping for it with the T5450 cpu , but if you have a desktop I'm still up for a trade

Hi, I'm thinking of trading my Gateway P-6831 FX laptop for a desktop since I use it as a desktop replacement anyway. It's in perfect condition as it never leaves my table top and I still have all original boxes and receipts.

EDIT: I LIVE IN KANSAS, AMERICA

Note: It will either be with T8300 or T9300 cpu depending on the the rig up for trade...not the X7800 cpu







Specs are:
  • Gateway P6831 FX base with T5450 extra
  • Intel T8100/T9300 3/6MB cache 800mhz fsb
  • 2 x 2GB DDR2 667mhz ram
  • 2 x 200GB Hitachi 7200rpm 16mb in Raid0

I Scored 9896 in 3Dmark06 with the X7800


Looking for a Setup preferably a Quad or intel 45nm dual-core, Decent video card, etc

Just wondering: why wouldn't you keep the laptop? I also use my laptop as my desktop, but I like being able to also take it out of the house for school and any other reason. So it's better than a desktop to me

It's a badass laptop but I got me a PS3 and don't play games on it anymore like I was planing to. I just got me a 32" LCD and since I'm living in the dorms I want to save space by making almost like a media center pc but have it fold most of the time
