As a preemptive move before installing 64-bit Vista, I have purchased a 4GB kit. It is installed and working properly, so it is time to sell my old kit. With a heavy heart, I place it up for sale here...

I am very disappointed that these HZs are not available in the 2x2GB category or I would have purchased them. In fact, they are no longer available in the 2x1GB category on Newegg. The closest available is this:

However, as inspection of the image will show you (as will research online) that the RAM I am selling is actually rated at 1000MHz and timings of 4-4-4-5 at only 2.3V. Indeed, I have gotten them to POST at 5-4-4-5 and 1200MHz without much voltage change (stable enough to POST but not load tested). To get them stable you might have to loosen timings a bit (but even 5-5-5-12 or 5-5-5-15 at 1200MHz is pretty bad ass!). Unfortunately my motherboard does not have nice timing control so I was never able to push them further (the other subtimings wouldn't go loose enough to follow the RAM specifications shown in CPU-Z). If you ask anyone familiar with this RAM about it, they will tell you it is exceptional and overclocks very well. (And if they don't tell you that, they are smoking crack and you should get as far away from them as possible.)

It does have the lifetime warranty, so should they fail for you and you cannot return them I would be more than happy to do so on your behalf (you'll just have to send me the RAM, obviously). I just pulled them out of my machine and put in the new RAM so these DIMMs work perfectly fine.

The listing price for the 800MHz version is $149.99 at Newegg (as you can see by the link above).

With regards to these sticks being the same as the 800MHz ones, please read this post.

Given the potential I feel that this price is more than fair, but the price is negotiable, and I am willing to trade (even for items that I will owe money for in addition to the worth of the RAM). If you can find the same sticks for sale for cheaper elsewhere, let me know and I will consider selling them to you at that price, if only to avoid having to go to eBay.

I will ship via USPS Parcel Post within the contiguous U.S. If you would like to purchase these but live elsewhere then we will have to discuss it over PM. It will be shipped in the original packaging! The item will also be insured for the full amount that you pay.

If someone can show me the same RAM with the same quality assurance and lifetime warranty help for less than I'm offering I am willing to compromise, hence the negotiable price. These are no longer available as far as I can tell so I priced them a bit below what new 800MHz units cost on Newegg.
