good prices bump for you, but just to let you know certain 256mb 8800GT's can be turned into a 512mb with a bios mod

I don't think so. If I remember correctly, the first PCIe 2.0 cards from Nvidia were the G92s.

I can only speak for myself, I have never registered these cards, and I'm mostly certain that the previous owner hasn't either.

The 256MB card would play games better, as it's got faster GDDR3 and faster clock speeds.

Edit: I registered both of these cards in my name, and both are eligible for XFX's double lifetime warranty, which means that the second owner can use my registration code to register for their own lifetime warranty.

does xfx have to be registered within a certain time frame, as in, is it to late to register the cards now?

thats what i thought about the ddr3, just wanted confirmation

if you still have it when i come up with some extra money ill pick it up off ya, you interested in trading for an xbox 360 game? heh

I've never used warranty service with an XFX product, so hopefully someone else can better answer this question for you. From what I've heard though, XFX and EVGA have some of the best service departments around.

I'd trade for a PS3 game, but I don't have an Xbox 360, so no.
