Alright, I want to buy a new laptop because this one has a couple tiny small issues, and I want one more suited to me.

This laptop is an ASUS C90, it runs fine, I have an E6600 processor that you will receive with the laptop. I have all the disks and stuff still, no warranty though. I bought it from RKC computers last winter.

PROBLEM ONE: I cannot get the sound to work properly. Drivers off the disk won't load properly and Realtek gives an error. The hitch; applications like windows media player and iTunes work. Any webpage that has a video or sound, you cannot hear it. The laptop says no sound device is installed, so I'm completely stumped. I haven't bothered reformatting, since iTunes works, CS:S works, so I'm happy.

PROBLEM TWO: There is a tiny mark in the screen from my retarded neighbor being...well, retarded. It's hardly noticeable, but it is there. In the picture it look white, but that's only from the flash; you won't notice the small bump unless you really look for it.

One other small thing, I removed caps lock because I despise the button, and somehow I lost the key. I'm sure you can get a replacement and put it back on if it means that much to you.

Laptop stats; E6600 = 2.4 GHZ dual core (Socket 775 desktop processor, not it's mobile representative) 2 GB of RAM ( XP 32 bit, no reason for more) video card is the Nvidia 8600m GT with 512 MB of DDR2 RAM. It runs counter strike without any problems, but that's not saying much. Counter strike, and Audio surf are the only computer games I play, so I haven't any other real world benchmarks for you. Comes with a 200 GB SATA 7200 RPM drive, and it ha fingerprint security, which is remarkably useful for logging into windows, and an emergency windows L if someone is trying to hit random keys on your keyboard to interrupt your instant messages.

Laptop price originally with E6600 was 1200, it's yours for 600. Other than the aforementioned defects and the missing caps lock, it is 100 percent perfect condition. I can either leave it as is, or I can reformat it for a super clean fresh XP SP 2, it's up to you. If you run windows updates, make sure to leave out Windows genuine advantage... it's not the most legal copy of XP on the earth.

DESKTOP PARTS-

Processor -
I have a QX9650, going back to DDR2 meaning the 680i, so Penryn is a no-go. I can't quite recall the VID on this processor, but I know I had it at about 4.3 GHZ at around 1.4 vcore, which is about as high as you ever want to push a 45NM processor.

Motherboard-
Now selling my eVGA 790i Ultra. I plan to go back to DDR2 for a while and hang back until Nehalem hits a sweet spot (probably for a year or two before I'll dive in.). Selling the board for a solid 275; this board has not been treated unkindly, watercooled and I haven't had all that much time to overclock on it (been having RAM problems, so stability is an idealogically sensitive detail). I should have all the extras that came with it, just specify what you want with it and it will be included.

DDR3 RAM -
4 GB DDR3 OCZ 1333 RAM - $200
4 GB Patroit 1333 RAM - $175

I accept ONLY PayPal, or money order through the mail, but not checks. I can't see someone ending 300 dollars in bills in an envelope through the mail though LMAO! So, PayPal it is. PM me if you're interested or have questions about what I have up! I'll put up more pictures of the laptop if need be, but this is all I have for the moment.

TL;DR-

Laptop $600,
Motherboard: eVGA Nvidia 790i Ultra $275
QX9650 $500

OCZ DDR3 1333 RAM- $200
Patriot DDR3 1333 RAM- $175

What sort of overclocking success have you had with the QX6850?

Good luck RMA'ing that QX9650.

I really like the look of that laptop, and unless I'm mistaken, doesn't it have an excellent cooling solution?

I haven't pushed the 6850 too far, I've had it at 3.75 GHZ at 1.4 Vcore I think. I didn't really have the want to go any frther because of temps though.

YEAH the cooling on the laptop is a bit loud, but it works good enough. running folding on this laptop right now, it functions fine, even while playing CS.

Wow, that overclock is still excellant.

My Q6700 with a VID of 1.275 can only do 3.6 on 1.42 volts.
