Nope, you got the right place. But Frak, you could have warned a few people first. And even if I was on your warning list my mad money was already spoken for.

I have seen your mobo's at the egg.com for open box sales and they are great prices. I am even thinking about going with intel for some of my farm. It looks to me that intel boards w/3-4 pcie are cheaper than their amd equivalent. But I think that I will go with just gpu's as the better intels are more than I can afford.

But month by month I am hoping to get the parts together, a gpu here, a cpu there...mobo somewhere and it will come together. Although your sale would have gotten me there alot quicker I'd say. All the right parts at the right price ..... oh well. I suppose I gotta slow down sometime and I really should save a bit of cash so that I can move.

Well I do got the start of a smallish farm. My main sig system and a m2n-sli mobo. I was thinking that I would put in this 98gt that I got now in with the m2n and my 5kbe when I get my new 98gtx+ and the 9850 that is coming.

So one box'd 98gtx+ with a 9850be and one bare and neekid 5000be with a 98gt. It would give me the one cpu extra.

I am just wondering how my 98gtx+ will play with it's little brother the 98gt. Both are g92s so....I don't think that either one will lessen the ppd of the other. I could be wrong though.

it shouldn't be too bad with the 9800GTX+ and the 9800GT... their SPs are different so you might see a small hit in PPD.

Yaaaa, right. Forgot that I did. 120 vs 112 shaders. I am thinking that the extra naked folder will be going at it too. At least I'll have an extra system in case one goes bad plus the extra 5-6K/day for poiints too. I just gotta figure out the best place to hang it. My desk has these 6" rails on top and underneath so I am thinking of just hanging it under there out of the way. Close enough to my powerbars and for my router too.

Here is a darkish pic. I can use whatever to hang the mobo, psu and hdd on the left, the left cause it is not the outside wall and the heat will be less there.

ps: sorry, I seem to be waay off topic.
