I don't see why people don't really like these for gaming. I've never personally used one but from your Crysis benchmark it out performs mym GTX 260.

Yeah it's an amazing. The reason most people didn't like it before is cause it suffered from horrible microstutter. But with the new drivers it's amazing, it's pretty much absolutely gone. I haven't been happier using this card. However I'm building a new computer and looking to do SLI with a GTX280 or GTX285 which is why I am interested in selling or trading this card. But other than that it runs amazingly.

With a 4.2Ghz quad core I found performance of two 9800GX2s to be slightly less than my SLI GTX 260 192sp cards in both benches and game play. However, micro stutter was still an issue with games like Crysis and some HL2 mods/Valve games.

I had the 9800GX2, and micro-stuttering was still an issue in games like GRID and Crysis. It's performance is not in games, but in benchmarks.
The other thing about the GX2 that is not mentioned too often is how fricking hot they get. Unless you have case with excellent ventilation, or take the card apart/mod the cooling, this card gets very hot and this affects it's performance/OC ability.

With Quad SLI you most likely will seem a little bit of microstutter and I dunno what drivers you guys are using but I'm using 182.06 for Vista 64-bit SP2 and I barely see microstutter with my card. Also I changed the thermal paste on the card and my max temps are 88*C in Furmark with XtremeBurn mode turned on. I used to get 105*C before changing the paste.

Also, if you take the shrouds off they run much cooler. Mine sit in the mide 50s C at 1782 shader running F@H. |
