*All cards work great, brought this year and come with all plugs, manuals and software.
*Cards were used for benching mostly so none of them have many hours of use.
*All cards tested/benched at stock and not overclocked except for the HD4890,

Yes you can CF a 1GB with a 512 mb card but 1GB card will limit itself to use of only 512mb to match the size of the other card it is CF'ed with. A little waste of memory but does work (CF) and function properly. Personally I wouldn't advice it and would sell your 512 mb card and move to 1GB cards.
