Since I am having trouble getting my Floppy drive to work n my Sig rig, And the Server Case has a working Floppy drive. Is it possible to take my Hard drive which has WIN xp 32 working OS on it, Basically my Sig Rig Hard drive, And put it into the Server Case and connect it so I can copy the needed Server RAID driver from my Sig rigs Hard drive that I downloaded from the ASUS website for the Server Board to a Floppy disk, Then I could Load the Raid drivers once I reboot and hit F2 or F6 whichever it is to open the Storage utility so I can Delete the RAID setup and start over and do a Fresh install of Win XP 32.
__________________Would it work? Or would the ASUS server Board not recognize my 320GB hard drive from my Sig rig and just sit there? From the sounds of it, I just need to get the RAID driver onto a floppy and reboot? But even this small task is turning out to be a big problem. Can anyone confirm or deny if my little plan would work? I have been going since this morning trying to figure this out. http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/...-m_content.pdf That is a link to the ASUS website, It has the manuals and drivers I will need for the ASUS server board. Can someone please help me find the right ones![]()

I'd recommend, like you said, putting them on a Floppy. The hard drive thing seems a bit long-winded and complicated to me, and I'm not sure you can boot RAID drivers from the hard drive, although I may be wrong.

no, i can't use a usb to use the raid drivers.
__________________For some reason my sig rig won't get a floppy drive to work? That was why I wanted to put my main hard drive into the server case so that I could transfer the files to the floppy disk from the server case once it is booted up with my Hard drive. Then I could disconnect my Hard drive from server case. Reboot with floppy drive in so that I could access the RAID storage utility to delete the RAID setup and have the Four hard drives back to regular Hard drives.

This is much easier under Vista. It allows you to use a CD-ROM. Your best bet would be a USB stick. Failing that try your server method. I suggest USB first because it's less hassle.
