Is that Sunbeam the only one that will work or can i pick up any fan controller? There's some nicer looking ones.
Edit: i'm looking at this Scythe Kama-Meter

I don't generally like digital controllers over mechanical ones, but if that's your thing, go for it. I personally like the Scythe Kaze Master for my own RC690 very much. I will point out that both the Kaze Master and the Kama-Meter are both incapable of controlling a fully loaded RC690 with fans.

I didn't plan on loading my 690 up with all fans available anyways. But if i did, i wouldn't need to control all of them anyways. The front one, especially, is very quiet already. I have actually been considering buying this Delta Extreme High Speed fan for my rig, and that is what i would need a controller for, i think.

Dude, you realize how loud that thing is going to be? 59 dba. I hope you have a pair of earmuffs those people who direct planes have.

Doubt it. Digging a hole and burrying it 5 metres under ground won't make that thing any quieter.

I didn't mean that cutting the honeycomb mesh will make that fan quieter, I meant any fan in general sligtly. Though that fan would still be very loud.

That's practically the only reason to get the RC690.

that loud fan will wash out anything you try to do to silence your case. i wouldnt even bother trying to quiet the other fans since it wouldnt make a difference with a fan at 59dB
. it will completely wash out any other noise in your neighborhood, lollook in to another fan, like this one from Silverstone. i just bought and it works great on my TRUE 120. it has its own fan speed controller
