Default got foam sheets, now what?

sorry for the semi long and boring read, not a thread for speed browsers?

oaky i bought a roll of some semi-dense foam stuff (about 2\16" thick). now where, how, do i put it on the inside of my case to silence it. this antec 900 is loud as a mofo lol and im to cheap to change the stock fans just yet. so my questions simple, where should i mount this foam like in what key areas? i have enough for the whole thing but yea i need to know vital parts. and how can i attach it? thank you!!

I would use spray adhesive (for foams) if you want semi-permanent installation, otherwise 3M blue tack will be fine. Don't expect too much noise deadening from simple open-cell foam though - you'd need something much more dense (think like Dynamat or similar) to really knock down noise levels.

System: Linux exclusive? I think so.

1st. killa, does that foam go under your mobo or is it just neatly cut around it?

2nd. chipp, well its not really foam its like mat-like material, its foamy\squishy, but its like a grippy liner but yea its alot lighter then the real denser materials out there. and spray adhesive it is, i was thinking the same thing and its what i have at hand.

if you look along the right side of killa's motherboard, you can sort of see how the foam is slightly raised from the mobo.
makes me think it's just very neatly cut around.
