Well now that I've become a noise dampening nut job i figure I'll finally silence my case.

Where can i get the egg crate style foam?

I'll post what Ive done so far in a bit.

The Armor is already pretty quiet. How silent do you want it?

OK, now THAT is ghetto.

So what happened to the hard drive racks anyway? I'm not sure I'd trust that bungee cord arrangement, and the rack has a nice 120mm fan mount.

Basically your gonna bake your hard drives. I tried something similar to this and my hard drive temps jumped to 60+ , and one actually overheated on me. Its basically insulating the hard drives(keeping hot air in)

i like the bungee's but that foam around the drives is gonna cook them... you will need really good airflow and that 1 120 on the back of your case isnt enough

My harddrives are cooler now then before.

Ignore the e8400 temps they are way off.
This is with all my fans on the lowest setting and the gtx fan on less then 50%
The way i have it the only way air can enter my case is thru the harddrives.
