Default 1 Control, bunch of fans.

I've always wondered if I can wire all my fans to a terminal block, and have 1 switch (or 1 knob) that can adjust all the fans at the same time. I don't really see the point in setting all my fans at different speeds, and it's also for a P180 (bought this for 50 buck at Frys =D) with 8 120mm fans (if you're wondering why there's so many fans, there's 4 push/pull fans on a 240mm rad).
I was going to get a Zalman, but it only offers 6 channels.
Basically is it possible to do something like this? If so how?
Power - Controller (1 knob) - Terminal block - 8 fans

it is possible to do that, but you would need a switch or pot capable of the current draw.

Pretty sure the Sunbeam Rheobus *4* channel will handle 8. two on each shouldn't be an issue.

Just be careful and find out how much power each fan draws. I had to RMA my Kaze Master because it died because I put 2 DuOrbs (each with 2 80mm fans) on one channel. I don't think there is ANY fan controller that can handle 8 120mm fans on one channel. You could probably make one yourself though. This thread has some info on making your own.

The controller should have a rating for its maximum amps. Calculate accordingly with amp rating on fans.

Check out some of the rheobuses at http://www.lamptron.com and see if there's one you like. They have some that do 45 watt per channel, and some switches that will handle 100W each.

Like soloz2 has said, it is possible provided the switch you're using can handle the needed power draw.

Depending on what the power draw on the 120mm fans you're using, the Zalman MFC1-Plus should be able to handle 2 fans on each channel. According to the MFC1-Plus box (I have the fan controller), each channel can handle a maximum of 7 watts (or approximately 0.5833 amps). If two of your case fans don't draw more than that, then you'd be able to use the Zalman MFC1-Plus.
