Default Silencing a Cosmos 1000

Over Christmas, I upgraded my Antec 900 to a Cosmos 1000 thinking that the change would drastically reduce my system noise. However, the system runs louder than expected. Any tips on how I could deal with this problem would be appreciated.

louder speakers !! or you could put low noise 140mm's on the top, and mayber swap out the bottom and back fans.

I was thinking of getting a fan controller like one of the Sunbeam Rheobus controllers. Does anybody know if it will fit inside the Cosmos when the front door is closed?

uh well you can look into buying some quieter fans, but as a slightly cheaper alternative buy a scythe kaze master or the zalman one thats like 44$ on the egg....i know for a fact those will fit,

Would replacing the stock fans with these yate loons: http://www.mountainmods.com/yate-loo...l12-p-424.html make a huge difference? The site implies that they push a lot of air but I'm not sure how good 47 CFM is. Is it better than most stock fans?

fan controllers and replacing the stock fans are the firs thing I would do. If that doesn't do it for you then a quieter cpu and gpu cooler would be next, finally some noise dampening material on the case and soft mounting your hdds

Another option is to run everything stock and remove all fans except 1 for exhaust.

Are you using a fan controller or is everything stock?
