Lightbulb Quiet case fans

Heya,

Couldnt find a thread on this so i made one.

What are the quietest case fans? I just purchased a silverstone raven RV01 and it should arrive this week. If the fans are to noisy, i will replace them. But with what?

So my fellow internet users, what do you suggest for each size category?

This isnt a thread to help just me, its a thread everyone could use as a reference!

It's been discussed ad infinitum.
What size?
How many CFM do you need?
How much noise is OK.
What do you want to spend?

These comparative tests should help you make a decision. If I was making a decision on these fans, I would pick the Zalman.

Whatever you do, do not pick any fan using the Fluid Dynamic Bearings. I guarantee it will prematurely fail.

Yeah, there's so many options you have to know exactly what you're looking for before shopping.

For a budget, I think the Yate Loon fans are pretty well balanced between cost and noise and performance. I got mine from petra's.

Hitting 3.8 was easy, getting a stable 4.0 ghz, that will be a challenge!
