I am currently running the CURRENT SYESTEM BELOW. if i were to ad a ssd and intal the os to that would it really increase my boot time? if so, by how much?

To really really make a difference, i would recommend getting two in RAID 0.
But, its really expensive. I went the HDD Route (I had previously thought about SSD), and decided getting two of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136283 I am very happy, as games load fast, and boot time is great as well ![]() Just a thought :P

Yes, but it would vary how much. Probably 5-8 seconds faster.

I really hate myself for telling another person this after how much ive wanted an SSD... but the technology just isnt there yet. It might increase load times of things, but Ive seen a LOT of reviews that state that as soon as you start doing 2 things at once, that the performance goes down the drain. Theres stuttering, waiting for programs to load.. I think the tech is just too new. For $300 for a 128gb drive, ($2.34/gigabyte) you should get something a lot better than that. Dont look just at boot time, you do much more with a computer than watch it boot.
