I have been modding my Rocketfish and have ended up with 7 case fan capability.
__________________Should I put fans in all of them and put them on low, or maybe just use a few of them and put them higher? Currently the config is: 1 front air intake 2 bottom panel intake 3 top panel exhaust 1 back panel exhaust

It just depends on how much noise you want.
But remember, negative air pressure is better than positive air pressure. I have all my fans (5) on high and they are noisy. But its worth it to me. Keeps it nice and cool.

Positive Air Pressure = More air in case Negative Air Pressure = Less air in case. Neutral Air Pressure = Balance between air coming in and going out.

Try them all and then if its too noisy take one or two out and monitor temps first.

Thing is, I'm asking before I go out and buy lots of fans if it isn't quieter. I don't want to end up with 4+ extra fans than I need, esp at 10 bucks a pop.

Well with your current setup if your not generating alot of heat then no you probably don't need so many but a cool system is a happy system and if you plan on doing a large OC its not bad to have enough cooling. And do you know about negative and positive air pressure? Take that into consideration.

General rule is to have one intake, 2 exhaust. Negative is desired, lets all that cool/hot air exit the PC faster so cooler air goes over and creates a flow in your PC.

If you have hi-end graphics cards is Postive better? I remember reading a case review and the reviewer said that case has negative air pressure which can be bad for hot gfx cards.

I have 8 fans total. Unless I'm gaming I run them at low speed. It is half as loud as my wife's rig with 2 R4s at full speed.
