So we have more polygons and better textures, if thats the only thing that has improved in 2 years to hell with Halo 2 on the PC I can play it on the Xbox for ages already!

If you ask me it looks like sheit, outdated as hell. I dont know why but its just visible that this game wasnt a PC game originally. I had the same feeling with Halo on the PC. It just didnt look as good as PC developed shooters.

The Vista only crap I think is just a cheap trick to get us to buy Vista in order to let us play this 2 year old Xbox game

Sorry guys, I really like Halo but this is just stupid
Well you can play online without having to pay for Xbox live, custom maps, mods, think of the possibilities.

And how the hell does it look outdated? You obviously are not taking a good look at it, what kind of graphics do you expect?

It just didnt look as good as PC developed shooters.

Looks a lot better then source games. You are heavily judging it based on M$ requiring you to have Vista. I don't see the bad in it, they just want you to have a better experience with a nice OS, might not be perfect but hell you want them to put it on XP so more people can pirate it?

dude it looks like the TV they used for the xbox halo 2 screens was from the 80s, for the love of god. Halo 2 looks decent on my tv, not all fuzzy and washed out. However, it doesnt have near the detail level or lighting dynamics that the PC screens show here (due to better tech, dur hur)

I think, even if youve beaten it on xbox, you should still get it here and beat it. Its a new experience, story mode or multiplayer.

Of course they didn't change the geometry. That can change gameplay. The resolution is higher, and that's about it.

No, did ya bother to look at the video in the article? They practically improved and redid everything to put it up to today's standards.

If you guys did take a look at the special edition Halo 2 DVD they did mention the game was incomplete and they needed more time but they already set a release date. It was probably then they had the time to do what they had to finish.

And think about it your looking at it from a distance, get up close your TV people.
