Man, this kinda sucks. I could only run it at 1fps. It lagged so much. It seems many people including those with conroes are getting 1fps. Maybe theres something wrong with the benchmark?

prolly coz its just that, a synthetic benchmark. designed to rip your system to shreds while attempting to display new, full capabilities. i wouldnt go basing real-world performance for this game on that benchmark. we all remember Lost Planet dont we

those screens of 16xQ anti-aliasing are mad. check out the texture on the side of the ship!

But we should at least think of it as an idea of dx10 and what our hardware can do with it?

yeah thats very true. i think the features of the benchmark should be taken into consideration (the textures, the live ocean, the HDR etc) but performance wise, im not sure. when is this games release date?

Ran it on High at 1280x1024 with no AA and it ate my computer alive with a low of 12.5 and a high of 40fps. Yikes I did not know DX10 was going to be so killer. I guess its time to SLI the cards.

WHAT?????????? Did you look at the screenies we've posted??? This stuff is beautiful! Although screenies don't do the benchmark justice... seeing this quality in full motion is almost bonerific! I think Pook is just tryin' to be funny though... at least I hope he is!

I just picked up a copy of WIC and im going to crank all the settings to max including res to 1920x1200 and see if my comp can handle it, otherwise im buying another 8800gts tonight. I was going to judge it off this bench but i rather judge on real game rather than synthetic
