I just uninstalled the hotfix (don't remember the #, it tells you which one), downloaded and installed windowblinds then installed the VTP. Took about 20 minutes total.

How do you uninstall the hotfix?

control panel-> add/remove programs -> check show updates and then search for the hotfix and select remove.

I am tempted to try this as Vista x64 ate all my books marks from FireFox last night grrrr. I love the look and feel of Vista but I cant be loosing my bookmarks as its hard to remember the urls of all the good free porn sites.

An OS is an OS. It's not there for you to stare at a pretty interface, it's there for you to stare at the internet and let you run programs and play games. It should have a minimalistic interface that is not in your face about animations and stupid effects.

I don't know about you, but Vista runs perfect on my system and i can run games like Bioshock on medium-high settings with great results. Vista is the best OS i've ever used and it has alot better interface than XP's which was clunky. It's not there for you to stare at yet that's what you are doing when you are looking at a monitor, and why not make that image look atleast colorful and decent instead of bland and uninviting?
